Cape Town, the beautiful mother city of South Africa, with the famous Table Mountain as a backdrop, allows visitors from far and wide a fusion of South Africa and European culture. Day 1

Half day Cape Town city tour. Visit the famous Table Mountain (weather permitting and cable ticket for own account). Take a scenic coastal drive through Clifton and Sea Point. A guided boat cruise at the Waterfront. Trip to Greenmarket Square, District Six. A walk through the Company Gardens and a scenic tour passing the Houses of Parliament, City Hall, Castle and Slave Lodge.

Day 2

Winelands
Winelands

A full day Winelands Tour driving through Paarl, Franschhoek and Stellenbosh. Experience Nelson’s Creek cellar tour with wine tasting, drive past the Groot Drakenstein Prison, where Nelson Mandela was released in Feb 1990. Visit Franschhoek Village and Huguenot Memorial, Helshoogte mountain pass, city tour of Stellenbosch, close encounter with a cheetah (optional extra) and an informal wine tasting in the area

Day 3

Camps Bay

Full day Cape Peninsula Tour with views of Clifton and Camps Bay beaches. Visit to Hout Bay with optional trip to Seal Island (own account). Mariner’s Wharf, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Simon’s Town, Penguin Colony (own account), Cape Point Nature Reserve, Constantia and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Includes:

  • 4 nights accommodation

  • Scheduled seat-in Day tours with English speaking guide or driver-guide: Half day Cape Town City Tour; Full Day Winelands Tour and Full Day Peninsula Tour.
