Cape Town, where our short getaway tour picks up, will amaze with its breathtaking view of Table Mountain and surrounding sights. We depart via the charming Route 62 to Oudtshoorn in the early morning.
Day two offers optional visits to either the renowned Cango Caves or a local ostrich farm. Afterwards we head to Plettenberg Bay where you can indulge in a number of coastal activities.
Day four includes a picturesque drive along the Garden Route, before heading back to Cape Town on the N2 national road (via the international airport for those having flight reservations in the early evening).
The Western Cape offers tourists the opportunity to experience a unique corner of South Africa. In four days you could truly experience its ultimate culture, heritage and scenic encounters.
The tour starts in Cape Town from where we head to Oudtshoorn, situated in the Klein Karoo. You can enjoy a number of activities at your accommodation, from star-gazing to seeing rock paintings.
The Cango Caves are located in this area and you have a choice between these natural wonders and visiting an ostrich farm (optional).
After a good night’s rest we head for Plettenberg Bay. En-route we will stop for lunch (own account) in Knysna. Knysna is one of the Garden Route’s best known travel destinations because of its beautiful landscapes and setting on a natural lagoon. After lunch we set off for our accommodation in Plettenberg Bay.
Plett is a spectacular destination and offers a number of activities to participate in (optional) including dolphin and whale viewing, township tours, game drives and even Tsitsikamma canopy tours.
Although the trip back to Cape Town on Day four is a relatively long one, the picturesque Garden Route – one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline – will kick-start your day and ensure wonderful memories to linger on long after your tour will officially have ended in our ‘Mother City’.
